ERP (energy related products energy efficiency directive) is one of the four directives of European CE certification. The other three directives are LVD (safety regulation directive), EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive) and RoHS (toxic and Harmful Substances Directive).

On December 5, 2019, the European Commission announced the new ERP regulation (EU) 2019 / 2020 and energy efficiency label regulation (EU) 2019 / 2015 for lighting products. The new regulation will be formally implemented on September 1 this year. For LED Lighting products, they must meet the new energy efficiency and functional requirements and apply for new energy efficiency labels according to the new regulations.
The new ERP standard puts forward requirements for lighting products in the following six aspects:
1Energy efficiency requirements; The advertised power shall not exceed the maximum rated power
2Energy efficiency grade
3Displacement factor
4Color rendering index: CRI greater than 80%
5Standby power is less than 0.5W
6Stroboscopic: PST < 1:SVM < 0.4
