Precautions for use of UV lamp

Ultraviolet germicidal lamp (UV lamp) is used in the aquarium. It should be used in a closed space. It is not allowed to irradiate fish, grass and people.. The 254nm UV lamp only sterilizes the water in the circulation pipeline and has no effect on the beneficial bacterial community (EM bacteria) attached to the filter material. However, within one week after the addition of nitrifying bacteria, avoid using UV lamps, because it takes a certain time for the nitrifying bacteria to adhere to the filter material.

185nmuv lamp can not be used in aquarium for a long time, and is only suitable for disinfection before fish culture. The ozone generated by it will circulate with the water and kill the EM bacteria on the filter material.

The UV lamp does not need to be turned on for a long time. It is turned on for about half an hour every day or every week,
Do not touch the light-emitting part of the lamp with your hands.
The UV lamp shall be installed in the lamp with protection during use to prevent the lamp tube from breaking and injuring the human body.
If the lamp tube is harmful to the skin and eyes, direct irradiation shall be avoided.
If lamps are required, the transparent glass of lamps shall be 4mm thick explosion-proof glass.
