Air Pump

The Air Pump is a vital component of an aquarium, and two main parameters to consider are gas volume and power. Typically, these parameters are interrelated, with higher power resulting in a larger gas volume. A larger gas volume allows for deeper water depths in the Fish Tank. Conversely, using an air pump with a large gas volume in shallow water can cause water splashing. On the other hand, an air pump with a smaller gas volume is suitable for tanks with greater water depth, but the bubbles produced may be smaller or even negligible. It's worth noting that a larger gas volume tends to generate louder vibration sounds, while a smaller gas volume operates more quietly. When selecting an air pump, it is advisable to prioritize models with adjustable air volume. These air pumps typically provide a minimum air volume of 1.5l/min and can be manually adjusted using a knob. This allows for better customization and control of the air flow within the aquarium.
