Multiple Safety Protections
Over-Temperature Protection: When the water temperature exceeds 97.7°F (37.7°C), the controller displays “E2”, emits a beeping alarm, and automatically stops heating and cuts off power to prevent overheating hazards.
Out-of-Water Power-Off: The heater automatically turns off when removed from the water. The side probe prevents dry burning and fire.
APS Anti-Scalding System: In case of heater malfunction, the APS system activates within 10 seconds to automatically cut off power, safeguarding your fish.
Memory Function: The heater remembers the set temperature. There’s no need to reset it after a power outage.
1. For tanks less than 55 gallons: Use 5 watts of heater for every gallon.
2. Tanks over 55 gallons: Use 3 watts of heater for every gallon.
3. For aquariums over 25 gallons: Use two or more heaters. Multiple heaters provide an additional layer of protection if one heater fails.
4. Make sure the heater fits the space.
